Zooper Tango Double Stroller Recall
Aug 19th
The CPSC has issued a recall for the Zooper Tango Double Stroller made by Lan Enterprises. According to the release (linked above), the hazard is that the stroller’s frame latch above the front wheels can fail when the stroller hits an object, causing the stroller to unexpectedly collapse.
Sold at: Juvenile product and mass merchandise retailers nationwide and at www.babiesrus.com from January 2007 through August 2008 for between $400 and $430.
Stroller Recall
Jan 21st
Two days — two recalls. The recent stroller recall from the Consumer Product Safety Commission can be found here. Hinge issues seem to be coming up more and more with strollers. Graco is doing the recall now, but I get the feeling that eventually all strollers will be recalled once an incident is reported for each brand and model.
This doesn’t make the list of bad things yet, but if the hinge issues continue, it might end up with drop side cribs.
I wonder how many of the products we are currently using will be recalled at a later date?
