My new worst enemy, Part 2

Recap from Part 1: Kiddo has croup. Team DB (Daddy Blogger) spent the morning in the ER with steroids and breathing treatments. On way home from said ER, Wifey (whiff-ee) comes down with wicked headache and nausea and by 2PM we are back at the ER with now happy kiddo and now very sick Wifey.

Croup. I hate croup. I mean, I really…really….really hate croup. This is the second time this year our little one has had it — but this time was a little different. For those of you that haven’t experienced this gem — here is an overview from the Mayo Clinic. Zooper Tango Double Stroller Recall

The CPSC has issued a recall for the Zooper Tango Double Stroller made by Lan Enterprises. According to the release (linked above), the hazard is that the stroller’s frame latch above the front wheels can fail when the stroller hits an object, causing the stroller to unexpectedly collapse.
Sold at: Juvenile product and mass merchandise retailers nationwide and at www.babiesrus.com from January 2007 through August 2008 for between $400 and $430.
Wireless Video Baby Monitor Recall

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall notice for Levana Wireless Video Baby Monitors due to overheating concerns. The overheating poses smoke and possible burn hazards. According to the recall, they were sold at: “BB Buggy and Health and Safety stores nationwide and on the Internet between February 2010 and May 2010 for about $200″.

While I have groused about some of the less-fun things about being a dad, the amazing moments still outweigh the puke soaked shirts and sleepless nights by a 10-1 margin.
